2018.

It’s New Year’s Eve! Those who knows me well, know that I have an obsession with the number 18. I am so excited to see what the 2018 will bring!

This year flew by. 2017 wasn’t the best nor the worst year ever. I spent most of this year being upset with myself and my circumstances. A special shout out to my family and friends that helped me through that rough patch. I love you so much. I didn’t start turning my 2017 around until the summer. I started to see myself and didn’t like the reflection. My blogs became my outlet to expressing myself. I thank 2017, for helping me grow.

Because of 2017, I know I can handle anything 2018 throws at me. I feel free and empowered. I feel beautiful and confident. 2018, I will make adventures and take some L’s. I will discover more about myself and fall more in love. I will trust God’s choices and stop whining about the things I can’t change. I will move forward and be the best me that I can be.

Dear 2017, you have given us many trials and tribulations but we made it through you. We laughed, cried, and grew because of you. Dear 2018, we will find the good in our bad times. We will never forget what 2017 gave us, but we move forward. We will love, discover ourselves, and live free.  We will not only say “New Year, New Me” but we will actually change for the better. Dear 2018, We’re ready for you! Happy New Year everyone!
